    Hi,

Is there a possibility to create a banner for BuddyPress users after they log in but that the banner disappears for ever after closing it and will not appear again on next login?

    Thanks for your Feedback.

    Regards
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,

In short this is definitely possible as you can show bulletins based on cookie value (i.e. only the logged in users will see it) and you can set the close to hide the bulletin indefinitely (i.e. put 9999 as the value).

I will get back to you with more specific instructions on Monday when my team is back in office

    Best, Michiel.

    Hi Daniel,

In the pro version you can accomplish this as follows:

    1. Choose the option “Only Logged in users” in the placement tab
    2. Enable the option “Allow user to dismiss bulletin?” in the advanced tab and set a high value for the cookie expiry (we will publish an update soon that will allow an indefinite expiry)

Feel free to give the pro plugin a try, we have a 14 day no questions asked return policy. Let me know of further Qs

Hi @danielehrat – just letting you know v.1.0.5 now has capability to dismiss a bulletin indefinitely — see https://www.dropbox.com/s/wryn0c2rbya9gp4/bulletin.jpg?dl=0
