Banner doesent show all types of cookie categories

    Hi! I cant seem to figure out why the banner preferences shows that I have functional cookies and the user can opt in marketing, but the statistics dont show. Its also weird considering that i only use cookies for functionality and statistics only. Is there a way to customize the preferences checkbox?

    Hi @lipovskoy,

    This really depends on your settings in the wizard.

    If you’re using Tag Manager, make sure you add the category yourself under cookie banner settings.

    If you’re using anonymized statistics in the EU, not in Germany. You don’t need consent for statistics.

    If you have selected third-party services or first-party marketing services in the wizard. Consent is also needed. You can double-check these settings under “Integrations” in the wizard.

    Thank you for your answer! I only use anonymous ip GA for statistics only, so i should not even need consent for marketing either, right?

    If your site only used functional cookies, you don’t need to ask consent for marketing cookies indeed.
