    Hi @anselmo,

    Can you try to clear your browser cache? I just checked, and don’t have this issue. Possibly the old version with the cookie path issue is still in your browser cache.

    Hi Rogier, I have the same problem also clearing cache. I have opened the page with a new browser (opera) just right now and the problem’s still there…….

    Rogier, this is what happen….. https://www.millevetrine.com/vetrine/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/millevetrine.mp4
    thanks for the time you are dedicating to me

    Same problem here, but not on all computers. After updating the plugin, one PC always shows the banner, it doesn’t matter if you agree with the GDPR policy, empty Chrome’s cache, and so on; while the other has no problem at all, even after clearing cache and cookies. Weird.

    Hi @riccarbi, @anselmo

    Could you check the following, for example in Chrome;

    1. Visit you website incognito
    2. Make a choice on the banner
    3. Click on the lock in the front of your URL and see if the complianz_consent_status cookie is on the right path, if using a subfolder it should refer to the subfolder. And check if the cookie is valid longer than just 1 session.

    Unfortunately, Chrome works for me as well.

    regards Aert

    Rogier, I opened millevetrine.com in incognito mode and the problem seems solved. I clicked the padlock but the complianz file is not among the cookies … there is no trace. Once returned in normal mode the problem’s still there

    Same experience for me ..

    @marco74it please start your own topic and share your domain so we can take a look, we can’t be sure it’s the same issue until we’ve seen the domain. If different issues are posted on the same thread things may get confused.

    @anselmo,

    I just double checked your site. The banner is working as expected, and the cookies show up normally. Your site is located in a subfolder. In the latest version, cookies will get placed on the subdirectory (vetrine), as they should, because your site is located on that subdirectory.

    I suspect your browser has still cookies in the case on the root domain. That is also why it works in an anonymous browser, or in a fresh browser without history like mine.

    Clearing these cookies should resolve the issue.

    @anselmo,

    One other thing: I notice you’re still on the cookie path branch. I recommend to use the WordPress repository latest version. The cookie path branch is behind, and for example uses the site_url instead of the home_url. This could cause issues if you have your wordpress files in a different directory then your main site.

    @rogierlankhorst you are right. Sorry if any confusion, anyhow, I started my own thread yesterday.

    Thank you Rogier, I’m sorry if I wasted your time but this makes me frustrated. Thanks for your invaluable help. I downloaded firefox from scratch and everything works fine. I don’t understand why it doesn’t work on chrome …. I cleared the cache so many times …… I guess I delete the browser and then reinstall it …….

    @anselmo,

    If you install the current WordPress repository version of Complianz, then let me know, I can check if the correct files are loaded, and if I can see any issues.

    ok Rogier I did it, installed the last version downloaded from the wordpress repository. Version 4.9.1
