Bank transfer goes automatically to confirmed

Hello, my issue is that when a user chooses pay using direct bank transfer in my orders admin page it is automatically set to completed which of course shouldn’t be the case as i have to verify that manually. I’m using the theme wpresidence. Appreciate any help ??

When testing the default WooCommerce BACS ( Direct Bank Transfer ) payment gateway when an order is created by a customer going through the checkout process the order status is set to On-Hold and not Completed.

If your order are being set to Completed that indicates something on your site outwith of the WooCommere plugin itself is altering the order status, possibly some code from another plugin, your theme or custom code which has been added.
I’d suggest carrying out a conflict test on your site to try and locate the culprit. This document below offer guidance on how to conflict test on a WordPress installation.
