Bank account (IBAN) doesn’t save in Mangopay dashboard

    Hi,

    Started using Mangopay, currently testing in the Sandbox environment. It creates the user / wallet however when saving the IBAN it doesn’t create the bankaccount inside the Mangopay dashboard.

    Also when entering an IBAN, it fails alot if not entered with a ‘-‘ in between digits and sometimes even then it fails to save the IBAN.

    Let’s find a solution together ?? Can you please tell me if you are entering this IBAN info in WP environment or directly in the dashboard ?
    Do you have some error in the JS console ?

    If you are entering this info in WP environment :
    In the update page of the user there is two “bank account section” One for WC Vendor : with separate fields (Bank name, routing number, IBAN, BIC/Swift) and one for MANGOPAY (“Bank account data”, with some “(required)” tag in red).

    Can you try again entering the IBAN in the MANGOPAY section ? Here is some example : https://www.iban.fr/verifier-iban.html (you don’t need to have space in it).

    Hi Audouin,

    Thanks for the reply. I entered the info inside WC vendors dashboard in the payment tab. The Bank account section for WC vendors has been removed within the settings by me. I’m only using Mangopay and showing the bank account section from Mangopay.

    I’ve checked again, when updating a user from within the WP environment and adding all info from within there it works properly. All information is saved within Mangopay.

    However when using WC vendors (pro dashboard) the Address of the user isn’t saved and the Bank account isn’t created. It also shows the IBAN is invalid if a ‘-‘ isn’t added to the IBAN number on the WC vendors dashboard. The user itself is created within Mangopay though.

    Sidenote:
    I’m using a custom registration option with Toolset. However when applying for vendorship the user is created after the user saves birthdate + Nationality and bank account details.

    Hi @zmrilly,

    The IBAN info is synchronized to MANGOPAY via user section only. It’s not possible to add an IBAN from WC vendors to MANGOPAY.

    You have two choices to add a bank account synchronized to MGP :
    1) Users / All users / Edit your user / Extra profile information for MANGOPAY / Bank account data -> Account type IBAN, BIC.

    2) Login as vendor / Shop settings / Bank account info.

    Can you try one of these 2 method ?
