    Hello,

    I’m trying to activate Bancontact & Klarna on my site https://www.oxygenserv.com/.

    However, despite having activated them in the Stripe interface and in the configuration of your plugin, they don’t appear.

    I’ve tested with the basic wordpress theme and it doesn’t display either; only the bank cards are visible. Can you help me?

    I wonder if it’s because my Stripe account is associated with Woocommerce? Why is that?

    Answer from Stripe : “The said payment methods are both enabled in your Stripe account. Thus, you need to reach out to them again to ask for further assistance and ask them if they can enable and support the said payment methods on the payment page they handle.”

    Hi @maxence1502

    Can you please check your WooCommerce settings to ensure that your store location is set to a country that supports these payment methods? Bancontact is typically supported in Belgium, and Klarna is available in European and North American countries.

    If everything is correct, try re-authenticating your stripe account and check whether it makes any difference.

    Yes, it’s a French address so there’s no reason why it shouldn’t work.

    One thing I’ve noticed is that when I order a product from the TerraWallet plugin, the payment methods are displayed: https://prnt.sc/pVjz_4QFnmEl
    whereas otherwise they’re not: https://prnt.sc/Mosr_kY-Pvc_

    I’ve also noticed that the ‘Address’ field is displayed at the top in one case but not in the other. Could this have something to do with it?

    I’ve tried deactivating the flux checkout plugin that displays this and it doesn’t change anything.

    Hi @maxence1502,

    Looking at your screenshots I can see the products that don’t include the address, nor the additional payment methods are subscription products, I believe. Can you tell us which subscriptions plugin you are using for those?

    Thank you for the additional details! You should be able to use Bancontact for your WooCommerce Subscription products, but not Klarna. Learn more from our documentation here: https://woocommerce.com/document/subscriptions/payment-gateways/#stripe.

    I just tested this on one of my test sites, and setting up my site’s currency to Euros, I can see Bancontact as a payment option for new subs:

    From your screenshots, I see it’s not showing up for you. To rule out any possible conflicts, I recommend trying the checkout experience without third-party plugins (Flux checkout) and maybe even trying with one of our default themes, such as Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four. If the issue persists, a full conflict test may be needed.

    Why not Klara ? It is written on the documentation you sent that Klarna is compatible with Woocommerce Subscription

    To clarify, the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway plugin can support automatic renewals via normal card payments and additional payment methods that use SEPA for tokenization, which are:

    • SEPA Direct?Debit
    • iDEAL
    • Bancontact

    If you’d like to explore using Klarna for your subscriptions, you can take a look at Klarna Checkout for WooCommerce which is compatible with?WooCommerce Subscriptions?in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany & Austria.
