    I suggest to ban users without ban them ip, beause if for example there is a chat of a disco and people are chatting inside it from the wifi of the same disco, then banning a user with the ip of the disco, all users connected from the same ip will be banned.
    I suggest to add the only user ban option.

    I can provide such option, thanks! This options is also imperfect because a banned user can clear cookies or reopen a browser and then the ban is gone. There is no ideal solution for this I’m afraid.

    You are right, but in case of used forced to be logghed in, if the ban is server side, we don’t need to care about cookies or ip connection, just that username/user will stop to chat. yes anonymously people can do a lot of crazy things..
