Ban non existent users login attempts?

Hi guys,

I don’t know whether this is a new trend but one of my sites is getting regular login attempts for non existing user accounts, always with same password and username but from different IPs (all of them from the usual suspect countries of course).

Is there a way to ban hosts that are trying login attempts for specific user names, the same way we are able to ban the “admin”?
