Bait and Switch

  • Other plugin authors have a free and paid version – fine. Don’t offer the free version for years and then stop supporting it and require people to pay. That’s low. Remove from www.remarpro.com!

    We don’t require you to pay.

    We stop developing and supporting a Plugin that was available fro Free, for years.

    That is all.
    If you require a Plugin suite that does things like Toolset – yes, we do not offer that for free.

    I think this is the reason the Plugin is as well still available here, and the WordPress Forces did not remove it, as it does not force you or scam you in any way.

    We even offer full support and bug fixing up and end 2018.

    We announced this way in advance, to give users a valid chance to look out for alternatives (for software that does register Custom Types, Taxonomies and fields, not something very extreme if you ask me)

    Thanks for your point of view thou, I suggest, if you want Types to be removed, this is the wrong forum to ask for it.

    I then rather suggest WordPress Plugin review, or similar.

    Don’t pretend innocence. You know there are a number of users for whom the easiest/safest thing is to start paying you. You BAITED people into using your FREE plugin, and now to get updates, starting in 2019, they have to pay you – that’s the idea, right? Either pay you or pay a developer to change their site so that it doesn’t need your plugin anymore. BAIT then SWITCH.
