Badges or Ribbon to Indicate Sale Items

    I’ve added the Pro version of the Pricing Deal Plugin in order to take advantage of the bogo and wholesale pricing options. Since my client sells variable products, we’re not able to use some of the standard WooCommerce sale options, so this plugin seems to do what we need it to.

    However, I am unable to find any way to add badges or ribbons or some other kind of big attention grabber to indicate which items are on sale. I’d like to see a badge or ribbon added on the image of the sale item.

    Does Pricing Deals do this? If not, I may be asking for a refund on the Pro version and looking for something different. It’s essential to call out the sale items in every possible way.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your query. Pricing Deals offers a sale messaging function. On the Pricing Deal Rule, you can fill in the ‘Advertising Message’ text. To expose this text to your customer, you would use one of Pricing Deals’ shortcodes. The documentation for shortcodes is here:

    I am aware of the Advertising Message and have text setup to use. I’ve got to do some styling to make that text stand out as well – otherwise it looks like regular text and adds nothing to the look of the sale item.

    Hi,
    Excellent that you’re using the advertising messages and shortcodes already. Floats and styling are individual to each theme, and you can also supply any desired ribbons or images using the CSS background-image property…
