Not sure where and how ready topic support is, offhand. There is some topic support merged into the master branch on GitHub, but as you noted above, there’s some issues going on. We’d need to do some more intensive testing to make sure things are not going to go to heck and back once released.

Hi Michael, many thanks for getting back to me, I really appreciate your support, I understand this might not be on your radar for development, would I be able to hire a developer to complete the plugin addition for learndash?

This would be so useful for my class as I would like to award badges in between topics.

Many thanks for you help and support and look forward to hearing from you.

I have no, or see any, issues with that type of thing if you want to pursue that.

I will say that any modifications you make for your own need would be overwritten with any update we push out for the plugin. However, at the same time, if you’re willing to share your modifications with us and we like what we see, we’d also be more than willing to accept pull requests and give proper credit. It would also make it safe to update later on as well, without losing your modifications.

Hi Michael, that’s very kind of you to allow this, would you recommend any developers that would take this type of work on? Would you like to take it on and I’ll pay you or give a donation I mean?

I was trying to contact the guy who wrote most of the code but I am unable to do this, I would be quite happy to pay him to complete the rest of the work and then if he was willing I would then hand it over to you.

I have used developers in India before but can’t seem to get back in touch with them.

I don’t have any sort of list of recommended people for this type of thing and don’t do take on the work myself.

Wish I could be of more help in the recommendation area but I just don’t have anything for it.

That’s ok Michael, many thanks for letting me know, i`ll see if I can find a developer in the UK that will give me a price to change it and get it working,

I’ll keep you updated on any developments, kind regards, Neil

    Hi Michael,

I have the new working update for you, it works like a charm with many thanks to this developer at Codeable, Natalia Chriss, she has forked the Code that codelion added to github and its now working perfectly.

I hope this helps you, kind regards, Neil

Michael i`m not too sure how github works, if you like I can send you the zip file that Natalia, the developer with codeable was working on if you prefer this.

michael @ webdevstudios . com would reach me.

Can you ask Natalia what branch she forked from, just to be certain I’m comparing to the appropriate one.
