BadgeOS requires itself to be Network Activated?

Hi there,

We are running a multisite install of WordPress running Commons in a Box. We installed the BadgeOS plugin and initially had it set as Network Activated. We realized that we wanted to restrict BadgeOS to our main site (Commons) and not have it active on the other sites. When we tried to Network Deactivate the plugin, it crashed our site. We were able to move the plugin folders out and get access to the site, which allowed us to move it back in and all is well.

Does the plugin require it to be network active?
