Badge not showing on product category page

    The plugin is working great on my subcategory page where i have single products showing. However on my main shop page which just shows categories and no products there is no badge to let you know there is a new product in the category. I am using Storefront but I get the same results with 2019. Is this the intended behavior and does the paid version behave the same?

    Hi there,
    it’s not an issue but the correct behaviour of the plugin.
    YITH WooCommerce Badge Management apply a badge only on products, not on the main category.
    We remain at your disposal for any additional question.

    Thank you for your response. If you ever decide to add that function please let me know. I would gladly pay for that ability.
    Right now how does a customer know there is a new product until they get to a page that shows product?
