Hi there – LOVE LOVE LOVE your plugin and the support has been awesome. This problem comes and goes and I have no idea why. Sometimes it displays properly and other times it doesn’t. Right now, it doesn’t. You cannot see the badge on the checkout page, and instead it shows a big box with a question mark box in the middle of it. How do I fix this? Even in settings when seeing the previews of each badge, all images are the question mark. Help!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

Thank you for using our plugin.

I have checked your checkout page and I can see the badge.

I can only think of one reason and that is a connectivity issue with your server. There are times that servers are overwhelmed and cannot serve all the page assets quickly enough before the request times out. This problem should not be a common occurrence (if it is, you may need to look for a new hosting provider), but it can happen from time to time.

Let me know if that answers your question.

I just got a new and better host last week, so I don’t know. Today it is working – so strange! Problem now, is that I had this website https://www.jackofallspades.ca and it was old and outdated. So I started up a new temporary website https://www.jackofallspadesrentals.com in the meantime and created a wordpress website. I started getting reviews on it (had about 75 or so) and then when I was comfortable that it was perfect, converted it to https://www.jackofallspades.ca to replace the old one. Now it says I have 0 reviews! What can I do here?

I took off the badge for now, because have 0 doesn’t look good. Thank you!

    Hi,

Verified copies of reviews are linked to the shop domain name. If your shop changed domain name it is considered as a different shop for cusrev which is why the reviews are not showing up.

What you can do is import your reviews from your old domain name to the new one using the import tool. See screenshot below.

    That makes sense, thank you.

I went back into my old one, and although all the reviews are there, when I press download template and try to upload them, only the 2 sample ones come up. But it clearly says there are 81 reviews or something like that. Any idea why?

@jackofallspades, cusrev only has an import function and does not have an export function as of the moment. You will need to fill in the template you downloaded with your old review and upload or import it to the new site.

Thanks for your reply – ok maybe I used the wrong wording with my last reply. When I tried to download the reviews, only the 2 sample ones came out?? So I wasn’t able to import anything into the new site. Sorry for all the back and forth, just don’t seem to be following the right protocol.

@jackofallspades I just want to clarify that what you are downloading from your old site is a “template” file and NOT your reviews. You will need to manually put in the review details like the product id, customer name, review, date, email, etc on that spreadsheet. And then use that file to import the reviews on your new site.
