Bad Queries in wp_posts, wp_comments Causing Server Overloads
-
Tech support at my “semi-managed” host says I have bad queries in the MySQL database used exclusively by WordPress.
He says queries are making bad calls in the wp_posts and wp_comments tables.
He sent this slice.
These incorrect queries are causing tmp tables to be created by every session, which is draining server resources and causing overloads that are making the site run very slowly.
I posted about this problem last week to the forum last week – here.
Btw, this is apparently not a capacity problem because host company would be eager to get me to upgrade if it were.
I have very little experience with MySQL but if anyone could suggest a solution, I’d be extremely grateful.
