EDIT: As the owner has indicated, SEO Premium isn’t advertised to be supported. This was a misunderstanding from my side. However, the readability analysis is a feature provided by the free Yoast SEO free version, so I’m leaving it in 3 rather than 4 or 5 stars by now.

I bought the Premium plugin, since it was supposed to work fine with Yoast SEO Premium. However, I’ve faced multiple issues, as the readability analysis wasn’t working (it was fixed, and now it’s broken again). I couldn’t get my money back even when I reported this during the first few days of buying the plug in, and it took more than a month to get it solved. Their website say that this is the only situation in which you can get a refund (reporting an issue within the first 15 days of buying the product, and they don’t solve it within a month).I’d love this product otherwise, but for now it’s too unstable for me. If the situation doesn’t change I’ll definitely not renew my license and will look for a different plugin once it expires.

  • Dear Rainiero (@justonemoreplace),

We had this conversation with you for two months, and you know very well that we’ve never advertised support of Yoast SEO Premium.

Despite that, we’ve spent a lot of time helping you with your specific case and wrote code to support your plugin.

Your last message (Jan 24) was:

    Hi Alex,

I noticed that the readability analysis is now working, thank you very much! Will this work for the secondary language as well in the future? Thanks again,

    Regards,
    Rainiero

Now, suddenly, “it’s broken again”. What happened? Things do not broke by themselves.

When Yoast releases a new version, we rush to write a new code to support it. And we do it for free, for all the users of the free version of WPGlobus and free version of Yoast. Some people say “Thank you”.

The Yoast SEO Premium is a different story. We do not have it. We do not use it. We do not support it. If you do not like this situation – we can certainly understand it. And we’ve done all we could. And we’ve never refused talking to you and helping you.

We’ll be sorry to see you leaving us.

    Hi Gregory,

Actually, I need to apologize as the confusion was from my side, since I thought the Yoast SEO version was in an earlier release, and when I saw the versions supported in your website I thought the Premium was the one supported. I’ve edited my original review to reflect that, as it was a mistake from my side and I fully recognize that.

However, the readability analysis that caused me issues is a feature from the free plugin. After one of the latest WP Globus releases, most of the analysis results are hidden. Only the first sentence can be seen. The behavior was different when I sent the thank you email, when I could see all the analysis and it got highlighted in the contents of the page/post.

    Thanks for your reply, regards.

Let’s call it “Lost in translation”, Rainiero. ??

Believe me, our goal is to support everything and everywhere and we are working on it, 24/7. It just takes time and enormous efforts to follow all changes in all themes and plugins. Especially, when it comes to commercial software such as Yoast Premium.

    Thank you!
