Hi! Some months ago i have mentioned about the quality for background photos, if the editor use images with 1920×1080 resolution (or similar resolutions, like 1280×720). The problem persist a little in desktop browsers. I tested in Firefox and Chrome, newest versions.

Here the images seens fine because i cropped the images in image editor and upload then

Sometimes i change the image zoom to fix this, but i don’t know its a good strategy. In mobile browsers the images seens fine.

Yes. I use the same image in 2 pages: first in background, and second with no background image configuration.

Hi! Yes, this makes sense! I reopened old stories and the stories performs better! I didn’t understand if this its from Firefox update, AMP or web-stories update. And i tried to avoid this issue if i zoomed the image (like 102 to 105% in some situations).

All my stories i tried to zoom the images to avoid this. Other situations i crop the image using Gimp/Photoshop and upload the image. For example:
