The plugin has worked amazing for months and today on one site it is giving me the error:

550 Bad HELO – Host impersonating domain name

I am using 2.0.6 What information would you need to help me diagnose?

Post the contents of the diagnostic test here.

Are you using an SMTP connection or the default phpMailer configuration?
Do you have a backup account selected if the primary method fails?

550 Bad HELO – Host impersonating domain name is coming from your email provider

Make sure that the domain you are using in your From field matches that of the hostname.
On the settings page, check your “Outgoing Mail Server Hostname” domain matches that you are using to send the email.

I contacted my email provider and this was their response:

“This is a default exim ACL in DirectAdmin and is prone to re-introducing itself on updates. It should have been removed, and I’ve done so now.”

I’m working again as expected. Just wanted you to know.
