Bad directory name.

  • How do I set the directory name properly? I just need site.com/sitemap.xml. My Chinese web ranking dropped as sitemap.xml was missing.

    Hi, there’s no way to set the root directory sitemap at the moment.

    I’m sorry to hear this, the last solution is to send again the sitemap to index it again.

    If you could remove the top folder and put in the top folder as default value with the directory it would be wonderful. Maybe it’s an easy programming fix and then this plugin will work in all countries. It is impossible to register the sitemap in China if we don’t live there or have a regular Chinese phone number.

    Thank you for the super quick reply. I hope we can one day set the file name to something like myaddress.com/sitemap.xml it will improve our default SEO scores internationally.
