• 1. when I delete a zoom meeting created in eroom, it doesn’t delete the corresponding zoom meeting on my zoom account. so you have to perform deletion twice. once in eroom . and delete the same meeting again on your zoom account.
    2. there’s no location filter. a user viewer sees a big list of meetings. no filter is available so user can quickly view only meetings in their time zone.
    3. Free meeting avatar not clickable. ie. you can only click on purchasable meeting avatar to view meetings of a host. you can’t view free and paid zoom meetings of a host together. what a terrible design.
    4. eroom doesn’t generate a woocommerce product automatically for a paid zoom meeting. another bad design.
    5. styling is fixed. eroom doesn’t provide ANY styling configuration.
    6. the pro version could have fixed all the above problems.
instead it only provides woocommerce integration and recurring meetings.
    7. the zoom meeting host user page cannot list both free and paid zoom meetings together. what kind of design is that?

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out!

    1. This is how Zoom itself works. We use the API provided by the Zoom service itself and there is no reverse synchronization. The plugin can take data from zoom, but you cannot delete them on a third-party site through the API.

    4. Due to the fact that it depends on WooCommerce and the plugin logic, it is assumed that there are also free meetings that are not related to products. If we automatically generate products, then free meetings will create products and users will have to check out even for free meetings too.

    5. Plugin is under development and additional styling options will be added in future updates of the plugin.

2-3-6-7. We will take into account these suggestions in future development.

    Kind regards

    4. The fact that there’s no RSVP or registration in your plugin

there’s no tracking of participants in free eroom created meetings

that’s another design oversight. the pro version should have that but it doesn’t.

right now the only way to protect free meeting passwords us to add FREE WOOCOMMERCE PRODUCT FOR FREE EROOM ZOOM MEETING.

AUTO CREATE FREE AND PAID WOOCOMMERCE PRODUCTS CORRESPOND TO EROOM ZOOM MEETINGS
IN FACT IS THE WAY .

    THAT’S LIKE REGISTRATION.

That can be added as as an option to make it flexible for SITE ADMIN TO DECIDE.

RATHER THAN EROOM DECIDES. THE CONTROL SHOULD BE IN THE HANDS OF THE SITE OWNER. NOT EROOM DEVELOPERS

GOOD PLUGIN DEVELOPER WILL PROVIDE OPTIONS I MENTIONED IN MY REVIEW.

UNFORTUNATELY MAJORITY IF DEVELOPERS EITHER LACK OF PLANNING OR JUST TOO LAZY TO DO SO.

PS. I DON’T EXPECT TO HAVE THESE OPTIONS IN THE FREE VERSION. BUT THE PRO VERSION HAS NOTHING TO IMPROVE THE FREE VERSION OTHER THAN ADDING MANUAL WOOCOMMERCE INTEGRATION AND RECURRING MEETINGS US A DEFINITE FAILURE.

NO ONE WOULD LIKE TO SCROLL THROUGH A LONG LIST OF ITEMS TO FIND MEETINGS IN THEIR TIME ZONE OF INTEREST.

NO MEETING SEARCH IS ANOTHER FAILURE IN EROOM DEVELOPER.

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE IN THE USER’S SEAT.

THE PAID PRO VERSION SHOULD ADDRESS THESE ISSUES BUT IT DOESN’T.

I WILL CREATE FREE WOOCOMMERCE PRODUCT FOR FREE EROOM MEETINGS

THAT’S THE ONLY WAY TO TRACK PARTICIPANTS ON RECORD . AND HELPS TO UNDERSTAND WHICH MEETING IS POPULAR.

FREE MEETING NEEDS TO HAVE ACCESS CONTROL.

OPEN PASSWORD DISPLAY IS A ZOOM PROBLEM. IT SHOULD HAVE RSVP AND SEND AN EMAIL TO RSVP USERS.

ZOOM HAS MANY ISSUES ON ITS OWN.
    WEBEX US WAY BETTER

ANITHER PROBLEM WITH EROOM IS IT DOESN’T SUPPORT WEBEX

ANOTHER MAJOR POPULAR VIDEO CONFERENCE APP.

A GOOD PLUGIN WILL AT KEIN PRO VERSION SUPPORTS MULTIPLE MAJOR PLAYER IN VIDEO CONFERENCING .

    Hello,

eRoom plugin does not include the option to create accounts for meeting participants by default. If you have a pro account on ZOom you can require authentication to join the meeting (Screenshot). When this option was enabled users had to sign in to Zoom accounts before joining the meeting.

As we indicated earlier we use Zoom API to make the plugin work and some of the futures which you listed are not available in Zoom itself for a now.

We really appreciate your attention to our plugin and suggestions to make our plugin more flexible. Please, spare 10 minutes and put your suggestions to the vote.

By studying statistics, we can conclude how many customers like you and how much they need these features. We respect the wishes of our customers and try to make them a reality.

    Kind regards
