Bad bot detection

    Hello,

    Great work with this plugin!

    I’d like to understand if the system only works based on the IP/bots already entered or if it has some kind of learning/detection system that will block unknown bots that are crawling the whole site. If not, is there at least a way to identify these?

    Thanks. ??
    We have a learn/detection system installed on our sites and servers. After the test and confirmation, we add the data to our database and our users can receive it automatically.

    Usually, the sites have a log file. You can look at the log and include the IPs in our table to block them. Talk with your hosting about the log.
    We are working to improve our plugin and running tests to include that in our plugin, probably in a couple of weeks.

    Hi Firebird,

    Version 6.0 available today can learning and will block unknown bots that are crawling the whole site. You can manage how many hits by a minute and/or by the hour.
