Bad Behavior Has Been Hacked!!!

  • I am seeing this in firefox for all my sites using bad behavior. Only firefox.

    Error 400

    There is a link which I assume is malware/spyware.

    I had this exact same problem on my site and have resolved it.

    I don’t think it was a hack, perhaps it is a bug, or an incompatibility. Inside the bad behavior log there are errors like this:

    "Header 'TE' present but TE not specified in 'Connection' header

    The solution was to go into the BB admin panel

    /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=bb2_options

    And change the option to OFF :

    ‘”Strict checking (blocks more spam but may block some people)”‘

    After that, the firefox worked ok and there were no more errors.
