The only reason this plugin is so popular is that CF7 mysteriously stopped supporting Google reCAPTCHA v2 in 2018, even though Google made it clear they intended to support both v2 and v3 indefinitely going forward.
So using this plugin at all was already a shim for most users. Pretty freakin’ unscrupulous to acquire a free plugin that got popular under such circumstances and then break it on purpose and then make it a paid/premium plugin.
Good job guys – really embracing the spirit of the open source community.
