BackWPUP stalling when trying to create a WordPress export to XML file

    When backing up the plugin is stalling and it says:
    1. Trying to create a WordPress export to XML file …
    WARNING: Job restarts due to inactivity for more than 5 minutes.
    2. Trying to create a WordPress export to XML file …
    WARNING: Job restarts due to inactivity for more than 5 minutes.
    2. Trying to create a WordPress export to XML file …
    WARNING: Job restarts due to inactivity for more than 5 minutes.
    2. Trying to create a WordPress export to XML file …
    WARNING: Job restarts due to inactivity for more than 5 minutes.

    Etc. etc. It keeps going. I am not sure what to do to fix it, I am searching online but have not found a solution. Thank you!
