BackWPup dsiappeared from WP menu

    Hi I have just noticed that BackWPup has disappeared from the side menu in my dashboard. I can still see it listed in the plugins list but even though I have deactivated and re-activated it I cannot see it.

    It was running, as I started getting error messages about not being able to connect Dropbox, but when I went in to the site to fix the issue I couldn’t find it. And that’s where I am…

    Any ideas?

  • I’m seeing the exact same thing. It just started a few days ago. I’m not seeing any errors in the site log either. I’m trying to go through and disable other plugins to see if something is conflicting.

    Can you check in Your Profile Settings that you have rights for BackWPup.

    Thanks. That was it for me. Now I’m puzzled why my BackWPup roll was removed. That’s a side project for me to investigate I believe though.

    That did it for me too – huh would have been nice for that to have been mentioned before the change was made! But great that the issue is resolved. Thanks! ??

    Odd – my profile setting showed I was Backwpup admin as before. Apparently just going to the profile page reactivated the plugin’s presence on the side bar ….
