  • I made change on job starts, that it will work in future but it needs some time……

Thank you Daniel for looking into it.

i been using plugin for a while, but the last update killed my host!!

They had to shut down the php code from this application, it was runnning the same process over and over ??

could do with this being sorted as its the best backup app out there

Yeah, loved this plugin until these issues cropped up with the latest updates. Still have these errors behind an .htaccess protected blog:

    – Can not connect with ‘https://www.domainname.com/protected/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/job/job_run.php’ but is needed for jobstarts!
    – WP-Cron isn’t working, please check it!

Mine was working prefect too for a few months. Now it says:

2011/09/14 22:55.14: 1. try for make list of files to backup….
    2011/09/14 22:55.36: 13495 files with 506.45 MB to backup
2011/09/14 22:55.36: 1. try to create backup zip (PclZip) archive…
2011/09/14 22:59.21: [ERROR]Allowed memory size of 94371840 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes)
2011/09/14 22:59.21: 1. Script stop! Will started again now!
2011/09/14 23:06.18: [ERROR] Job restarted, bcause inactivity!
2011/09/14 23:06.18: 2. try to create backup zip (PclZip) archive…
2011/09/14 23:10.32: [ERROR]Allowed memory size of 94371840 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 6155411 bytes

And it hangs. I had to close it manually.

Hello Daniel H.,Or anyone else who can help

Installed backwpup 2.1.4 recently and when tried to run got black box & 0% plus the following red warning

‘PHP curl functions not available! Most backup destinations deaktivated!’

Any thoughts on how to fix. (I am new to WordPress and don’t know code so any fix has to be simple for me to do)

I found some code on-line but don’t know where to put it.

    sudo apt-get install php5-curl
    sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

    Cheers,

    Gordon. I use wordpress 3.1

    OH THIS WON’T NEVER WORK
