Hey guys! Seems like I’ve got an issue, as my automatic back ups stopped working – plus I can’t do a manual back up either. I’ve checked disk space, and whatever I could think of for easy fixes.

I’m using WP 3.1.2. Any chance someone would help me look under the hood?

    Thanks!

    Jeff

    Hi Jeff,

I think we must have broken something as you’re not the only person to report issues with backups stopping working all of a sudden.

I’m looking into this today and will hopefully get to the bottom of it and get a fix out.

Thanks Tom. FYI, I just tried reinstalling v 1.3.1 to no avail. And furthermore, I’m using WP 3.1.4 at the moment.

I’m wondering if this might simply be a permissions issue? I checked wp-config.php and didn’t see any of the backupwordpress constants defined in there. Should they be?

If there was a permissions issue then BackUpWordPress would show a warning message in the admin.

Do you have access to your server error_logs?

Unfortunately no, GoDaddy’s interface doesn’t allow it. Any other ideas?
