BackUpWordPress – problem. wp-cron.php – cron jobs aren't getting fired properly

    I set up the plug in and got this message at the top

    “BackUpWordPress has detected a problem. wp-cron.php is returning a couldn’t connect to host response which could mean cron jobs aren’t getting fired properly. BackUpWordPress relies on wp-cron to run scheduled back ups. See the FAQ for more details.”

    The site is hosted on heart internet ( I noticed your note) but not on C pannel (eXtended)
    I went into CronJobs and input the line of code suggested +711 chmode but got error messages

    Any suggestions would be welcome

    Hi eyeswiseopen,

    Unfortunately I’m not familiar with Heart Internet myself, that help was sent to me by another user of the plugin who discovered it for themselves.

    I’d recommend you contact Heart Internet support and ask them about setting up a crontab to load wp-cron.php.
