BackUpWordPress error ?

I have installed the last version of BackUpWordPress but i have a error message when i want to backup : it gives an error 500 message and then :

BackUpWordPress did not proceed with the current task since 0 days 0 hours 4 minutes 8 seconds

BackUpWordPress tries to proceed with this unfinished backup. On a WordPress website with low traffic, reload the page a few times, to trigger the action.

If nothing happens for more than 5 minutes, deaktivate the plugin, install the newest version and activate again.

From what i know i don’t have htacess file (where is this supposed to be ?) and i don’t use special URL for the blog
