My server ran out of storage space last night preventing me from doing any updates to my websites. I use UpdraftPlus free version for all the WP websites on my server, having them all upload to individual Dropbox accounts, all of which have sufficient storage space.

As an FYI, my server account is at VPS.net which is set up with Litespeed Ultra VPS. This setup has worked flawlessly for years.

For some reason storage at Dropbox stopped around mid to late June, and now the backups are going to the server instead? I had to increase storage on my server to keep everything working, but need to figure this out soon.

Support at VPS.net seems to have solved the problem by increasing the PHP max_execution_time value to 90 seconds. I ran a backup on the largest website I run, and it appears to have worked. I’ll try other sites tomorrow and return here if I run into any issues.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

Make sure you use the latest version of UpdrftPlus 1.16.26. There was an issue with 1.16.25 with Dropbox.

    Regards,
    Bryle
