Backups only on drive

    Hello, I have a problem and it is that I only want to save the backup copies on the drive, and I have seen that my website weighs 8GB. Checking the files, I have seen that it seems that it also saves the backup copies in wp-content -> updraft . And it looks like I have a few backups saved in zip.

    Files with these names.

    I want them to only be stored on the drive, how can I not have the copies also stored locally. I have only the drive option selected. I don’t know if these copies are renewed, or if they are the first ones I made. In that case could you delete it?

    Hello,

    In UpdraftPlus >> Backup / Restore >> Settings >> Show expert settings is the Delete local backup option checked as per this screenshot? If not, please check it and save changes. When a backup is sent to your remote storage location it will be deleted from the wp-content / updraft folder.

    Yes, I have this box checked, is that okay? And in this case, how long will it take for the security copies to be deleted?

    Hello,

    The local backups should be deleted during the actual backup process. Would it be possible for you to share a log file from your latest backup via pastebin.com please?

    Your log does say that UpdraftPlus is deleting the local copies.

    I think you might have some backups from another backup plugin on your server

    The file name you provided, is not consistent with how UpdraftPlus names it’s folders.
