Backups not even starting anymore since 2 days ago

    since aug 16th, my backups don’t even start anymore. Scheduled or Manual.
    there’s only 2 lines in the log:

    Hi,

    It appears that the backup process is timed out or killed off right away.

    Pease ask your hosts/server admin to investigate their PHP error logs. These logs should contain more information on the exact issue that is causing the backup process to halt.

    There is no PHP errors related to updraftplus in the log.
    Backups still not starting

    Updraft Debug mode is also on and no errors show up.
    All backups just stay frozen exactly like the original post.
    last successful backup was aug-16th

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

    Have you already updated to latest version 1.16.61? If not yet, please can you update and test it again? It you get the same issue, can you share the backup log here?

    Yes, plugin is updated to 1.16.61. Nothing changed, backups still don’t start, log is exactly the same as in the original post.

    Just got an error email from wordpress after I tried to start a backup yet again.

    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 1731 of the file /home/tsmtecbr/public_html/PMAL/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/class-updraftplus.php. Error message: [snuffleupagus][0.0.0.0][disabled_function][drop] Aborted execution on call of the function ‘function_exists’, because its argument ‘$function_name’ content (proc_open) matched a rule

    Hi,

    Can you please check if proc_open function is enabled on your server? UpdraftPlus uses such function to run.

    proc_open was disabled. After it was enabled in the server, Updraftplus can now start and backup everything EXCEPT the database.

    PS: Maybe some other function was also disabled by the server admin other than the proc_open that I already asked them to re-enable?

    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay.

    “3245.517 (2) [Warning] Seu website é visitado com frequência e UpdraftPlus n?o esta recebendo os recursos que esperava; por favor, leia esta página: https://updraftplus.com/faqs/why-am-i-getting-warnings-about-my-site-not-having-enough-visitors/”

    This warning message causes UpdraftPlus not able to create or complete backups. UpdraftPlus is only able to run when WordPress is loaded into memory, i.e. when the site is accessed. As such, UpdraftPlus is not able to resume the backups in good time.
