Backups every three minutes?

    I just got a message from my host that they’ve had to disable one of my folders because

    — /wp-content/uploads/ithemes-security/backups
    The associated WordPress plugin was creating new backups of your hosting space every three minutes, causing rapid consumption of disk space and other shared resources, such as CPU/memory.

    Every three minutes? Really? I don’t have an option to update either WordPress or the plugin, so I assume I have the latest version of both.

    Hi,

    Could you try only backing up to the database and see if it still runs this much?

    Noticed the same thing, the backup was set to backup every 2 days but it was trying to create backups non-stop.
