Backups

    I am using the free version of UDP. Running backups is really dependent on the drop down option, however if we save the backups to run every 8 hours at 7pm local time, than will the backup timer start daily at 7pm. Will it take 7pm (when we save the new setting) as the starting time? I am just trying to schedule the backup process so it does not clash with other backups or scans and limit the memory resources.

    Or is we save the Daily option at 7pm, does that mean that the backup will run at 7p daily?

    Hi,

    It will actually run the backup from the time that you save the UpdraftPlus Settings.
    So you want to save the backup at 11am if you want the backup to start at 7pm if you have 8 hours ineterval.
