Backupbuddy error

NextGen appears to be affecting my site back ups with iTheme’s backupbuddy.
When the plugin is activated site backups stall on a javascript #82389 error.
The folks at BackupBuddy say:
“For a plugin conflict to occur, the conflicting plugin has two problems:
1) Its javascript code is running on BackupBuddy pages. It should not do this.
2) Its javascript code has a fatal error.Both of these are a problem with the offending plugin(s). The problem is that when a fatal javascript error occurs your web browser stops running any other javascript on the page, which results in BackupBuddy being unable to run. If you contact those plugin authors / their support with the javascript error information they should be able to help. Ideally they would not run their code on our pages at all though as there is no reason for it and it only increases the chances of breaking other plugins needlessly.”
BackupBuddy is a very popular plugin. It would be terrific for it to be compatible with NextGen.
Any advice? Could an update solve this? Please help!
