Backup to small

    I have enabled dreamobject backup. The back for DB and files is signifcantly smaller than the backup completed by two other backup plugins.

    Other plugin backups are about 1GB, and Dreamobjects backup is 2MB? any idea what is happening?

    Did you enable logging and see what that tells you?

    At a guess, your site was deemed ‘too large’ to safely backup. While, in theory, PHP can backup a 2G file, there are some ‘gotchas’ like if you’re on a shared host, you probably can’t go larger than 500megs without PHP bombing out.

    Yes, too large I just found that. Is there a way to exclude folders?

    Sorry about the MASSIVE delay in replying. The Forums are being silly again with the notifications thing..

    Sadly you can’t exclude folders at this time ince that would result in a wildly incomplete backup. But… what’s the cause of the too-big? Do you just have a large amount of uploads?
