I have used BackWPUp before to create jobs that back up to Dropbox, and have never had any issues there. But now I’m trying to create a job on another website, and this one is meant to be backed up on S3. Everything seems to be correct, I run the job, there are no errors, it says it’s successful. But when I got to S3 to check the bucket and folder specified, there’s no file there. I’ve tried different settings, and everything looks like it works, so, I don’t know why the backup files are just not showing. I haven’t been able to find anyone with the same issue here on the forum, or anywhere else. Any idea of what could be causing this?

Hi @saraobando
please go to BackWPUp -> Settings -> Logs -> Logging Level -> Debug(not translated ), re-run the job again then give me latest debug log file at BackWpUp -> Logs ( you can paste the full log on pastebin )

Thanks for the reply! The log was too big for pastebin, so, I used an alternative:

[23-Aug-2018 20:21:09] ERROR: S3 Bucket “jpb-website-backups” does not exist!
Sorry, this job was failed, please check if your S3 bucket exists or you have an incorrectly selected S3 location.

I selected the bucket from the drop down options displayed once I put in the access keys (screenshot).

Regarding location, I choose the US Standard region. The S3 account I’m using is on US East, but since it’s not an option, I figured US Standard would be the one to choose.

yeah, normally this issue happens because of users have selected wrong S3 destination ??

The issue is not solved, I was just stating how things are set up. That’s how they were setup when I run the job that produced the log I sent. Sorry for the confusion!

Hmm, so you got errors with BackWPUp US Standard destination?
And your bucket is in US East?
Do the error still happens now?

Yes, I just run the same job and it looks like the same error log.
