    Hi,

I’ve used UpdraftPlus previously with Amazon S3 storage and didn’t have any issues. I’m trying to set it up now to go to Google Drive, and everything seems to be setup correctly, however when I do a backup it never completes.

It always says (Not finished) even after a couple days. And when I check Google Drive nothing from the backup is there.

Here are the last few lines of the log where it seems to get stuck every time.

2737.657 (9) Cloud backup selection: googledrive
2737.664 (9) Beginning dispatch of backup to remote (googledrive)
2737.690 (9) Google Drive: requesting access token: client_id=879998768481-80lhpduegn1tskpligkjn32vpmb5qv4d.apps.googleusercontent.com
2737.838 (9) Google Drive: successfully obtained access token
    2738.842 (9) Google Drive quota usage: used=7.1 Mb, total=15360 Mb, available=15352.9 Mb
2738.845 (9) backup_2015-02-26-1003_Debra_Hammond_d04ad441da0d-plugins.zip: Attempting to upload to Google Drive (into folder id: 0B1-i2G-6ldIBcmE2Vk9kVjBZekU)

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
    Ronda

    Hi,

Please can you provide a link to your whole log file for the problematic backup? (You can download it from the “Existing Backups” tab of your UpdraftPlus settings page).

It’ll be too long to paste into the forum here, but you can download it to your computer, and share it with Dropbox, or paste it in pastebin.com, or any similar service, and post the link here.

    Best wishes,
    David

    Hi Ronda,

Thanks. It looks like it crashes when it attempts to upload. Do you have any other plugins installed that use Google services? If so, try de-activating them (all), and making a fresh backup – does that make a difference?

Failing that, ask your web hosting company where your PHP error logs are – there will be something logged in them, which, if I can see, will help to diagnose the cause.

    Best wishes,
    David
