    When I want to select a Backup to Azure the form shows up fine. Once I enter ANY details into the Account name field the entire form just vanishes into dust, leaving only two fields and not option to e.g. save anything.

    When turning on debug mode it will bring up these errors on the page (4 times):

    Notice: Die verwendete Konstruktoren-Methode f??r WP_Widget ist seit Version 4.3.0 veraltet! Verwende stattdessen
    __construct()
    . in /kunden/479291_10967/webseiten/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3619

    I really want to use Azure for backups, is this anything that could be fixed easily w/o knowing PHP at all?

    Thanks

  • Simple way is disabling WP_DEBUG in wp-config.php.
    In Production system WP_DEBUG schuld be desiabled generly.

    Other is find the Widget what uses this old method and ask the Author for fixing. Or use a other one.

    Umm, yes it is – I only turned it on to see what errors the page produces…and my assumption is that this error is caused by backwpup rather than any other plugin as there is no other plugin installed ?? It’s a fresh WP installation.

    But thanks anyway, will look for a working alternative.

    Hmmm, BackWPup has no widgets.

    It only works on localhost, so I guess the plugin or the combinatioon of WP with this plugin is just not really running well on most of the german webservers/providers, at least not on Strato, Domainfactory or 1&1.

    Thanks a lot for looking into this, though! ??

    But the message cames from a old Widget.
