I keep getting errors whenever I try to backup.

THESE ARE THE ERRORS I KEEP GETTING:

    1. Backup failed, it seems due to insufficient server resource or hitting server limit., Please switch to Website Info page to send us the debug information.

    2. The zlib extension is not detected. Please install the extension first.

    Hi @ikeyenx

Thanks for reaching out to us.

    1. Please go to the plugin settings and modify the following settings:

    • Uncheck ‘Merge all the backup files into single package when a backup completes’
    • Check ‘Enable optimization mode for web hosting/shared hosting’
    • Change the value of ‘Compress files every’ to 100 MB
    • ‘Exclude the files which are larger than’ 100 MB
    • ‘PHP Memory Limit for backup’ to 512 MB
    • Then save the changes and try again.

      2. This error is caused by the lack of zlib PHP extension, please install the extension to fix it.

      Kind Regards,

Same issue here… this plugin has not been updated, the hosting guys say they changed nothing but it stopped working out of the blue… This post unfortunately does not help, the plugin still seems to be choking for lack of memory although nothing has changed on my side… I might just remove it and do the back up manually… thank you so much

    Hi @coolcamera

If you have tried our suggested settings above but the error still persists.

Then can you please send us a debug zip from the plugin’s Debug tab? We are going to checked it out soon and offer more specific suggestions based on your situation.

    Hey @ikeyenx

    Thanks for your update.

Here is a simple guide you can follow to install the zlib extension.

If you are not the server manager, please contact your web host and ask them to do that for you.
