Backup stalls when using zip compression

  • When selecting “Zip” as archive format in the “General” tab, the backup constantly stalls at 43% for hours saying “Compressing files as ZipArchive. Please be patient, this may take a moment.”
    It’s not a problem of a specific file or folder: the issue solves itself when selecting another archive format. In that case, the backup runs smoothly.
