Backup sizes don’t match

    Hi all,

    There’s something I don’t understand:

    When Updraft makes a backup of my website it does so in different files/packages.
    Together added up, this results in about 800 Mb in my Google Drive.

    When I do a complete download using FTP and store those files on my computer the result is 6.46 Gb (!).

    I guess Updraft compresses files etc. But the differences is enormous.

    Why is that so?
