Backup runs in endless scan loop

  • I’m unable to get this plugin to work for backing up site files, it will only work for the db. File scanning ends up in an endless loop, you can see it working through the same folders over and over again.

    Redis Object Cache, PHP 7.4, WP 6.0.2, nginx

    I noticed some recent updates so I tried again after updating to the latest release.

    Now I get the following error in a popup:

    Hello,

    I’m not able to reproduce your issue, what PHP and WordPress version you have ?

    It’s all in the first post in this thread. I would check with redis object cache enabled, I have a feeling that may be the issue. I’ve now uninstalled the plugin and moved on to a different solution, but hopefully this will help with future updates.

    same issue using PHP 7.4 and PHP 8.0

    I don’t remember if it’s failed under wordpress 5.9.x but with all wordpress 6 releases have the same problem

    Last version that is working now for me 4.2.163
