Hi & thank you for a great plugin,

Is there something in the PDB setup which would prevent a whole site backup and then total restore to a fresh site install (same hosting provider even) from keeping the settings in “Participants Database Settings>Record Form Settings” ?

I had an email template edited in there.

(It happens to be using WPVivid Restore – but EVERYTHING else is ported admin + front end)

Everything else in the restore works well, DB content etc.

    Thank you

These settings are kept in the wp_options table, so if you’re porting all the WP options, that will be included.

If you need to move the Participants Database data and settings separately, you can copy the contents of the option named ‘participants-database_options’ on the old install and then paste that into the same option on the new install.

This is the weird thing. I’m importing everything (back and restore).

However, if I install PDB first onto a fresh site, then use WPVivid to Restore my entire site backup… it works perfectly.
It is essentially then updating the PDB plugin at that point.

However, this is an extra step I’d love to avoid. I’ll check with them to see if it is a glitch in their plugin.

As always, your plugin is working well!
    Thanks again.
