There was no warning. Updraft claimed a successfully completed backup. It did throw a corrupt file error on attempting to restore and it had NO plugins (it was a plugin only restore) had been put in the directory even though the directory was wiped.

Odder still is that the directory is shown in Google drive but when I download I get 0 bytes. I can preview it on Google and it shows all the files: but for whatever reason it is NOT letting either me or Updraft access the whole directory.

We have 2 backups: 1 this month, 1 the last. I checked both. Same issue on both when I tried downloading.

We use this on multiple websites on the same host and this seems to be the only one with an issue.

What might the issue be and how do I fix it?

This is happening on more than one site. Both are plugins directories. I get this error in dev console when trying to download: Resource interpreted as Document but transferred with MIME type application/zip
I think Updraft might be having the same issue?

    Hi,

Can you try checking the backups directly on your Google Drive and see if it shows 0 byte?

Can you also confirm that you have the latest version installed on your website?

Only one site doing it now and I think it’s something weird on Google is doing?
You can actually SEE the correct file size in Google Drive. You can even open it just to look at the file names.
It would start to download correctly if I hit manually download and then switch to 0 bytes, no permissions message in console. Only in the plugins folder as far as I could see.
It’s like it’s there but Google wouldn’t let us access it.
The other sites seem to be working now.

    Hi,

For that one site, can you please send us a copy of the latest full backup log?
This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.
