    Hi @jack2020

The issue is most likely caused by web server of your source website.
Your logs tells me that it may be also possible by some security plugin.

If you use iThemes Security or WordFence, try to temporarily disable it for the time of restoration on another website. – It may be also caused by security features of your hosting provider or theme permalink.

You can confirm above assumption by visiting the URL directly, it should automatically start download without displaying any content (do that after applying solution below). It may tell you what blocks the URL.

    First possible solution:
On the site where you made the backup:
    1. Go to our plugin settings and open “Other options” section
    2. Enable alternate download method: https://prnt.sc/1slr41w
    3. Save that section
    – No need to make new backup

Now, go to the site where you want to restore your backup:
    1. Open “Other options” section as well
    2. Disable PHP CLI checking: https://prnt.sc/1sljr31
    3. Save that section
    4. Force both processes to stop: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm
    5. Try to run the migration again with the same URL

If that won’t work, please repeat the “force both processes to stop” step.
Once you do that, download your backup and try to upload it manually.

You can upload your backup via FTP, cPanel or our Upload Area.

Let me know if that solves your issue ??
    Thank you!

    Hi @jack2020

You can download your backup directly from the site where you made it.
For the security plugins, I also meant site where you store your backup.

Once you make adjustments, you can try to download the backup via backup URL.
If it won’t work you may need to use FTP for that or file manager at your hosting.

Please, let me know if you still have access of website you want to migrate.
You will need it anyway to get your backup.

    Thank you!

I don’t have access to migrate the site. I only have a migration link generated from the migrating site on 30 April 2022. so now I don’t have a download zip only have generated link.

    Hi @jack2020

We don’t store any of your data, including backups.
They’re stored on the server/website where they were made.

If your website has not expired yet or it’s still live, please ask its current administrator for access or the backup file.

Error log you shared in first post also tells that backup migration plugin may not be enabled on that website, for migration you need our plugin enabled on both websites at the same time, unless you have downloaded backup file earlier.

Also, most hosting providers keep your data for 30 days or more since expiration.
You may also try to ask them for the backup which should contain backup file of our plugin.

My apologies for that, but if your backup was removed it’s not possible to get it just by URL.

My apologies, it’s just how backup plugins work out there.

Let me know if you need any further help.
