    Hi there,
    I am trying to backup a website where I have installed your free version.
    The first backup went just fine, now after lots of updates, new pages and translations made, I want to make a new backup with everything new included.

    The problems seems to be very common as I found lots of threads in your support forum and also in your FAQ, such as the backup goes into interrupting itself and then after few retry with increasing delay time it goes stuck.

    I have now tried to reduce the zip split size to 100MB, and after collectin 47MB of data it went stuck on generating the plugin.zip temporary file.

    I know for a fact this server is not the best, but because the first one I did went fine, I honestly do not understand why the second can’t be the same.

    The backup does not work both sending it to dropbox or Google drive.
    Same issue.
    I am considering, deleting the plugin and re-installing it again, setup again the dropbox and try again the backup. Would that be a good idea?

    Hi,

    Can you try to reduce the archive size further down to 25mb?

    You can also try backing up the uploads component separately as that usually takes a lot of resources to backup.

    Hi Bryle, thanks for your suggestions.
    I did reduce the archive size down to 25MB as suggested, than I backed up just the database first, and then the rest separately and….it worked!
