Backup of large site stops at 58 %

    I do have a large multisite WordPress with about 23 GB of data. If I choose to do a full backup with files included, it stops at 58 % at the lower bar. The last log entry was, that it starts compressing the backup – this was six hours ago.

    Any ideas what I could try to have it finished?

    I would suggest you split the big backup job into smaller ones, for example, one for database, themes, and plugin backup, and one for just the backup uploads folder.

    Also you can try with Tar instead of Zip since Tar use less server resource than Zip.
