I noticed in other threads you asked about plugins, so I thought I would go ahead and list the ones I’m using.
AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild, Akiment, BackWup, Insert Headers and Footers, Peter’s Literal Comments, Really Simple SSL, Shortcodes Ultimate, Simple Lightbox, Social Icons Widget by WPZOOM, Subscribe to Comments Reloaded, Twitter, W3 Total Cache, WP-Optimize, WPForms Lite

    Hi @sp12
Did you using CloudFront CDN on W3 Total Cache?

    (@sp12)

I’m going to say no, since I don’t know where that is. But I do know I don’t have CDN enabled.

    Hi @sp12
    So please try the following:
    – Enable debug log: BackWPUp -> Settings -> Logs -> Logging Level -> Debug(not translated )
    – Run the job again
    – Give me the latest log file ( the one with the latest date ) in BackWPUp -> Logs.
You can upload the log file to any cloud service like Dropbox
    Thank you

    Hi @sp12
Please try go to your job setting -> Files tab -> exclude and exclude the following folders:

    cache
    backup-fff20
    thumb-cache
    backwpup-922b2-temp

After that, run the job again.
    Hope that could help!

I don’t see a Files tab. I checked the tabs I have, and none of them show a way to exclude folders.

    Hi @sp12
The Files tab is in your job setting ( BackWPUp -> Jobs -> press Edit on your job -> Files tab )
    Hope it helps ^^

Got it! Did that. Ran it, but still didn’t backup.

    It says:
ERROR: Step aborted: too many attempts!

    Hi @sp12
I want you to go to the job settings -> Files tab and take a screenshot of the files tab in order to help me to debug the issue.
    Thank you!

    Hi @sp12
    Please try the following:
    In Backup WordPress install folder:
Tick all folders not related to your wordpress installation to be ignored except wp-content and wp-admin

I’m sorry that still didn’t work. I tried out a different plugin and it worked. I do appreciate all the time you gave but I think the plugin doesn’t like me anymore.

BAckup to Dropbox is not working for me since the latest update too.
