    The backup is not working. Can you please help me?

    i made the backup 3 weeks ago and now wanted to upload it – this file has 1.3 GB
    As it was not possible to upload the backup to the new site i tried to make a new backup today but i would need the premium version because it now has 9 GB.. but i didn’t made any changes in the last weeks so i dont know why it is so big now..

    As i was not able to use your plugin because i would need premium i thought i would try to make a backup in which i download my files from https://FTP.. and there it also has 9 GB

    I guess i need to buy more webspace again.. When I upgrade my webspace.. should I get 10 GB to be save?

    Hi @veho

    In first place, you should check what takes the space.
    If you have not made any changes in the meantime, size shouldn’t increase.

    It’s a bit beyond of what I can offer for you to help, but I can try to help you figure out what takes the space.

    – Please send me screenshot of file groups in first section of our plugin settings

    You can also try to:
    1) Uncheck all file groups in first section of the plugin. – But don’t save it.
    2) Try to run the backup, it should allow you to run it for a while.
    3) If it’s something that can be excluded it should allow you to run the backup.

    how can i send you a screenshot?

    Plugins would be 120.57 MB, Themes 32.37 MB, Uploads 1364.36 MB and WP-Content 7963.49 MB

    Hi @veho

    You can upload it to https://prnt.sc
    But your text is fine as well, as most of the data is in wp-content I have few assumptions.

    a) Something could modify our backups directory name (then our backups are included)
    b) If you used other backup plugin, please check their directory as well and remove its contents.
    c) Maybe you have here some huge .zip file directly inside wp-content?
